MPD is responsible for preparation and evaluation of different kinds of nutrient media for both Bacteria and Virus.
MPD is responsible for preparation and evaluation of Saline and different Buffer solutions, as well as enzymatic solution used in tissue culture.
MPD is responsible for testing the prepared media before distributing them to all departments of CLEVB, firstly Sterility Test and Secondly Performance Test.
Performance Test depends on the kinds of Target and Non-Target Organism for these Media.
Performance Test has 3 methods:
1. Quantitative for (New Company).
2. Semi Quantitative.
3. Qualitative.
Recently the presence of chlorine residue in water after treatment with different dechlorinating agent is determined.
