The mission of BLAVD-2 is to evaluate bacterial large animal’s vaccine and antigens especially live attenuated brucella vaccines, brucella antigens, tuberculin beside feline chlamydia vaccines, ovine and bovine mastitis vaccines (Mycoplasma, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and E. coli), vaccines of caseous lymphadenitis (Streptococcus, Arcanobacterium, Corynebacterium) and canine bronchiseptica vaccines that are made available to the veterinary field safe, pure, potent, and effective. Training of researcher on quality control of these vaccines is one of our important mission and activity.
BLAVD-2 is accredited in ISO17025 in two methods:
* Enumeration of aerobic bacterial count in live attenuated vaccine.
* Identity of live brucella vaccine using multiplex polymerase chain reaction (BRUCE-LADDER).
