1- Development and issue of the Egyptian standard specifications for the evaluation of vaccines and veterinary biologics, in accordance with international standards, especially OIE, CFR, and European Pharmacopeia, with ensuring continuous updating in line with the variables in international specifications.
2- Development of alternative and modern laboratory methods for evaluation of vaccines in order to save time and efforts and reduce animal dependence in the evaluation process.
3- Evaluation of hundreds of thousands of different veterinary vaccine batches since lab establishment until now.
4- Publishing hundreds of research papers in international and local specialized scientific journals.
5- Participation in specialized international and local scientific conferences.
6- Publishing tens of Master and PhD thesis.
7- The lab has achieved ISO 17025 since 2006 until now.
8- The lab became the OIE Middle East WOAH reference laboratory in 2023.
9- The laboratory has won the State Egyptian Incentive Award twice:
· The first one in 1999 in the name of Prof. Dr. Elham Atta El-Ebiary
· And the second in 2006 in the name of Prof. Dr. Samir Abdel Moez Abdel Wanees Nassif
10- The laboratory achievement many research projects funded by the Academy of Scientific Research, the STDF or funded from abroad.
11- Training many veterinarians from the faculties of veterinary medicine within Egypt on the evaluation of veterinary vaccines.
12- Training many Arab and Afro-Asian veterinarians.
13- The laboratory also has a training hall equipped with high standard and with a capacity of up to twenty trainees.
